Meet The Marshalls
William Marshall
William has more than 20 years’ experience in the insurance advisory industry. He worked in the London insurance market, before starting his own insurance business in Wellington in 2003. This business has evolved to become The Marshalls – Insurance Partners, where he now works alongside his brother and business partner Hamish.
William has a vast understanding of New Zealand’s property and casualty insurance market, implementing insurance strategies to support business, and property owners across New Zealand.
Hamish Marshall
Hamish enjoyed a successful professional cricket career, beginning in New Zealand and playing for the Blackcaps, followed by 10 years in England, before returning to join William in the insurance industry. Hamish, together with William, successfully launched The Marshalls – Insurance Partners in 2023, a property and liability insurance firm for those that value advice.
Hamish’s approach to everything insurance is methodical and detailed, where he provides technical expertise in property risk assessment, policy management, and claims negotiation.
